How about give us a log file report so we can at least see what it is trying to do?

As far as i know AnyDVD doesnt work on Data DVD's.

AnyDVD ignores data DVDs. Use CloneCD instead.

I am trying to create iso image of educational software DVD, which appears to be protected. Is it called a data DVD ? (I am not sure).
Will cloneCD create a ISO image of this DVD after removing protection like AnyDVD?

Unabe to create iso of software DVD.
Failed to read sector ????? This is endless.
Please see log bellow. What does it mean ?

The software on Disk is running perfectly ok. This is not a bad disk.

It takes 8 hours to complete 8%. Thus 100 hours to complete with unpredicatble results.

Moreover, the practice of a forum member posting in or creating multiple threads about the exact same issue he or she is experiencing is not welcome here. If you have an issue, create a single thread for it, and remain in that thread for the duration of your problem please. Otherwise, you will just make troubleshooting far more difficult than necessary (we have to read multiple threads that you created; people are trying to help you in multiple threads; etc.). Feel free to create a thread about your problem, but do not create multiple threads about the exact same thing nor post in multiple threads about the exact same issue.

Please read the rules. You've posted the same question multiple times, each time creating a new thread. That's not OK.

See here. Download Nero cd-dvd speed. It's a free program. With Anydvd running in the background, select the tab labelled "scandisc". Select the appropriate drive letter, and click "start". If Nero cd-dvd speed reports read errors, your disc is (probably) bad and needs to be exchanged--even if it plays fine (or your optical drive could be slowly dying).

I do agree Mike that rues should be followed. Please note that I am a novice user and I apoligige for this. This was purely out of ignorance to use the site and out of frustration. But I feel that mere warning or suggestion is suffiecient rather than restricting the access to site for a day or two. I feel that posting the multiple thread was more of a mistake and aplogige for that . But it is definately not a serious crime to restrict the access to site.

Anyway , my sincere thanks for your suggestions and help.

Are you using AnyDVD as well? If not give it a try with AnyDVD and CloneCD together

How quickly you've seemed to forget them again? Do you need more time to read them again?

unresolvabe ?

Maybe you are using the wrong product? Is this "educational DVD" like ... computer software? Like ... a game? You could try Game Jackal.
