I am having difficulty using the Rip Video DVD to Harddisk option with the Expendables 3. After about 3 hours I get an I/O error at 28%.
I have tried using different drives with no luck. I also tried cleaning the DVD disc.
I am attaching the log file.

When I see the errors in the log file listed above, I can only surmise that you have a defective DVD disc. Let's hope it is only the DVD and not the DVD drive having read error problems.

Replace the disc and try again, and if you get different kind of errors, please include a new log file.

Thanks in advance.

Or it could be a new protection since this is a new title. James would have to say for sure. There is more than one person having troubles with this title.

Bad Disc

Yeah, I figure its a bad disc.
Here is the screenshot anyway.
Oh, and I did try to use aggressive I/O mode on and aggressive I/O mode off.
I'll try to get a new disc.

Thanks.

I don't think it is a bad disc. And leave the "aggressive I/O mode" alone, please. (Right mouse button to see what it does).

Please try AnyDVD 7.5.3.1. Please let me know, if it works now. Thank you.

Thanks. AnyDVD 7.5.3.0 is the current download on SlySoft.com. Where can I find 7.5.3.1?
Thanks again.

Yep, it comes out to 38.9GB! Crazy.
It has about 36, 1GB files. Probably bogus stuff. Haven't had time to look at it though.
Thanks.

Expendables 3 and 7.5.3.2.

First sticky at the top of the AnyDVD forum

I just tried it and it did not work myself. I get the error that anydvd cannot even read the disc. Says it is either dirty (but it is totally clean, brand new this morning) or not the correct region (region is correct).

Then you need to post an AnyDVD log. Without it, no one can know what the problem may be.

Hello,

It seems 7.5.3.1 worked, can we get that for now at all? .2 doesnt work for me, nor does .0 so it seems we are kind of stuck for now...
