hi all, I get the following error on all my hd dvd discs

ERROR reading ADV_OBJ directory!
ERROR processing HD DVD disc!

I use powerdvd ultra (latest version).

The dvd part of anydvd works fine.

Are the HD DVD paths set correctly in AnyDVD settings?

hi there, I'm not sure if the settings are correct or not. How can I check?

here are the full details of the error (I've used com but all hd dvds are the same)

Summary for drive E: (AnyDVD 6.1.3.6)
TOSHIBA DVD/HDX807616 MC08 10/03/06
Drive (Hardware) Region: 0 (not set!)

Media is a HD DVD.
Booktype: hd-dvd (version 3), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 4956160 sectors (9680 MBytes)
Total size: 9912320 sectors (19360 MBytes)
Video HD DVD label: CHILDRENOFMEN
Media is AACS protected!
Removed AACS copy protection!
ERROR reading ADV_OBJ directory!
ERROR processing HD DVD disc!

hi there, anydvd still isn't working for me with hd-dvd movies.

Can anyone suggest something I can try?

EDIT: But it looks to me like a defective disc (double sided problem with XBOX360 drive)

dir to store temp files = J:\DOCUME~1\Media\LOCALS~1\Temp\AnyDVDHD

I am using the J drive because that is the drive where my windows is installed.

Is there enough space on your J: drive? Do the path(s) exist?
Can you try a different path?
