Error in Ripping DVD

I know I might get slapped for this thread, but im having trouble ripping a simple DVD. it keeps coming up with an error at the 2% mark.

Please find attached the Logfile. any ideas or help would be awesome!

If I might ask? What IS this disk??
Looks like a simple home-made DVD+rw, but loaded with structural protections??
Makes no sense to me - unless it's a strangely formatted disk of some sort.

Media is a DVD.
Booktype: dvd+rw (version 2), Layers: 1
Total size: 2295104 sectors (4482 MBytes)

Video DVD (or CD) label: DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER
Media is not CSS protected.
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is region free.

Found & removed structural copy protection!
Found & removed invalid cell pieces!
Found & removed invalid VOBUs!
RCE protection not found.
UDF filesystem patched!
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Found & removed 1 potential bad sector protections!
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

I know its weird eh?
