Hi

New to the forum, is it possible to backup a DVD that has 6 episodes of a series into individual files eg 6 mp4 files?

Yes it is definitely possible, you would need AnyDVD, to remove the protection and CloneDVD Mobile, to rip each episode to your desired format.
Both have 21 days trials, so you can try them out first before you buy :)
