DVD error "digital copy protection"

I have a new HP 8100 with a ATAPI DVD A DH16A1L DVD LightScribe drive in it and when I try to play a DVD movie I get this error. I have updated my ge-force 8500 gt drivers, but I still get the same error.

"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."

Any suggestions?
