Hopefully the new app will enable 1080p or even 4K downloads for Disney+ contents!
 
The Key Word is "App". Disney has had 1080p in their app since Jan 2022. I don't foresee any change for web browsing. Hulu content Manifests will still
most likely have 1080p. Disney content manifests will still most likely be limited to 720p. In reality, we don't know what Hulu will still offer. Comcast will most
likely pull the majority of its content since it will no longer own a share.....but it's hard to tell....they are not going to let Disney have it for free though.

But...I'm speculating....never hurts to keep your fingers crossed.
