convet .cda to mp3 files

Hi to all,
I have some cds with stories I want to put on my grandsons mp3 player. the files are .cda. will the clonecd convert these to mp3 files:bowdown:
 
Nope but it will make an exact copy though. Might try cdex and see I am not sure if it supports that or not and it is free.
 
Does it support converting cda to MP3? I haven't used it in ages as I used my built in creative spftware now days.
 
The best way I've found to rip cds is to use an mp3 software like rio.
