Conflict Game Jackal with Kaspersky 2010

This was on the Kaspersky Forum, no solution posted though!
I was having problems with Game Jackal since version 4.0.15, turns out Kaspersky was conflicting. When I pause protection on KIS, GJ works fine.
Anyone know if there are some setting I could change to make them play nice together?

Check my reply post on the following thread "Anti-Virus and Game Jackal" on the home page. I use the latest GJ and KIS2010 versions with no issues, and no changes from the default settings. What problems are you experiencing.

This was my original issue, which I can now resolve by pausing Kaspersky.
The attached are the latest error messages I get if I don't pause KIS.
I have set the gaming profile in Kaspersky and added GJ as a trusted application however this does not resolve the issues for me.
I only started having the problems since version 4.0.17 of GJ

thats one of the same things i get or trying to play buck-up sorry to say all you can do is pause KIS for 2 min then start the profile KIS will kick back on during game play
i waiting on KIS tech support to figure it out

Ive tried everything

what i think is happen is KIS is blocking or stealthing a port that GJ server needs
and when you pause KIS that port opens up, but at this point im just guessing whatever i can think of

i told KIS tech support this they said it could be possible and the'll look in that as well

The "Game Mode" has nothing to do with our conflict.
This is only a "HideMode" for KIS (to hide Messages, updates...)

Probleme mit Kaspersky und Game Jackal

Hallo alle zusammen

Ich kann nicht allzugut Englisch aber ich verstehe nicht warum hier noch keiner mal ne Lösung gepostet hat.

Hier ist die Lösung des Problemes:
Vorweg ich habe Kaspersky Pure zur zeit als Testversion laufen ist aber von der Internet Security das gleiche wie Kaspersky Internet Security 2010!!!!

1. Erstelle das Profiel vom Spiel OHNE das Kaspersky im hintergrund läuft (Internet aus und Kaspersky deaktivieren... deswegen Internet aus wegen Kaspersky aus!! Ihr versteht schon!!) LOL
2. Wenn das Spielprofiel erstellt ist macht Ihr Kaspersky wieder AN
3. Dann Startet Ihr das spiel aber über Game Jackal (Es kann jetzt passieren das das spiel nicht startet und er die Original CD/DVD haben will, Ihr macht die Meldung aber NICHT weg)
4. Kaspersky in der Symbolleiste aufmachen (Doppelklick)
5. Dann Klickt Ihr auf "Computersicherheit".
6. Dann Klickt Ihr auf "Programmkontrolle" und "Programmaktivität".
7. Im neuen Fenster sucht Ihr das genannte Spiel heraus und klicken dieses doppelt an.
(Zu Punkt 7. ist noch zu sagen das Ihr das Spiel anklicken müsst, zum beispiel ist es Battlefield Bad Company 2, oder das was Ihr gerade über Game Jackal gestartet habt, bei Dirt 2 war es SecurROM Launcher, das werdet Ihr aber dann schon raus finden weil es meist die Anwendung ganz oben im Kästchen ist. )

8. Hier wählt Ihr dann den Registerreiter "Ausnahmen" und setzt testweise alle vier Haken.
9. Dann Bestätigt Ihr dies mit "OK".

Bei mir geht es so und ich habe bis jetzt noch keine Probleme gehabt.
Ich hoffe gehollfen zu haben wenn was nich geht einfach nochmal Posten und ich werde Helfen so gut wie es geht, aber bitte in Deutsch mein Englisch ist nicht das wahre!! :disagree:
Achso an den Admin vom Slysoft Forum, es wäre nicht schlecht wenn Ihr diese Anleitung in die Kategorie "Probleme mit Game Jackal? Bitte vor dem Posten genau durchlesen!" aufnehmen könntet da ja alle die Kasperky haben das Problem haben werden. Nur so eine Idee.

Kaspersky 2011

Today I downloaded Kaspersky Internet security 2011 as a FREE (Yes it is a free upgrade from 2010).
Out of curiosity I tried it with GameJackal and shock horror it has worked fine so far.
With the 2010 version I had to pause protection for 5 mins whilst I started the profile, but with 2011 all is working as it should.
Happy days, I will let you know if further issues arrise.

Sorry aber mit Englisch habe ich es nicht so! Ich habe schon des öfteren gehört das es mit Kaspersky 2011 behoben sein soll. Ich habe Kaspersky Pure drauf und werde auch nicht so schnell davon weichen da es noch mehrer Probleme mit anderen Programmen gibt die Kaspersky 2011 unverträglich machen.
