Clone DVD only recognizes DL DVDs

I have been copying DVDs successfully to DL DVDs but I have not been able to copy anything if I use DVD-R o DVD+R. I do not know if I have to change something in the initial configuration of Clone DVD
 
On the first screen after you've selected the video files look down next to the quality slider and set the drop down box to DVD-5.
