Certain Disc...?

Before I invest and purchase the upgrade for the AnyDvd Hd package, is there a certain disc I have to buy? In order to back up my hd movies, can I use regular dvd's, or is there certain HD discs I have to purchase. Thanks for the help guys, and sorry if this is on the wrong forum.

AnyDVD HD will rip the files to your Hard Drive. From there you are free to transfer them to any disc you want to. DVDs will most likely be too small, so you'll have to use something bigger, or split the files across several discs using something like a RAR multi-volume archive. As far as playing them, PowerDVD no longer likes to play HD movies off your hard drive, unless you have an older version.
