Cannot play cd in my car

I am not able to play a cd that I copy using the trial copy of CloneCD. I can play on the computer and the TV dvd player but not on a car cd player or a home cd player. I am using a 700MB CD-RW Verbatim. Thanks

First, if the backup is playing in a standalone dvd player or on your computer, that means Clonecd worked.

The most common reason why you're having this problem (if the backup doesn't work in your car deck) is due to a compatibility issue between the blank media you're using and whatever you're using to play the backup in. Basically your car cd player either doesn't like the blank media you're using, or it's incompatible with -rw blank media. You can try choosing other blank media (-r instead of -rw, for example).

-rw tends to have a lower reflectivity than -r blank media . . .

Try these:

Maxell Pro CD-Rs (these are Taiyo Yudens with a protective coating)
Verbatim DatalifePlus CD-Rs
Taiyo Yuden cd-rs

Thanks. I knew it would be something simple. I tried a IMATION CD-R and it appears to work in my car radio. While copying it got stuck on 91% and after 47 min I aborted but it looks like it did the trick. I have not listened all the way through yet.

I would use these instead (better quality cd-rs):

Maxell Pro CD-Rs (these are Taiyo Yudens with a protective coating)
Verbatim DatalifePlus CD-Rs
Taiyo Yuden cd-rs
