Bought lifetime license right before discount

So I managed to fumble this bigtime. I hoped you guys would run a discount on 4th of july, but since nothing came I bit the bullet and payed up for a lifetime license this thursday (6th july).
This morning I wake up to a nice red banner saying "20% discount".

Having read all the posts of good customer service, I wonder if it is possible to get a partial discount given that the purchase is so close to the discount.

Of course referring to a partial refund for the difference between full price and now discounted price.
