The 5450 and my TV seem to handle 23.976 and 59.94. When the card is set to 24hz CeClock shows the graphics card refresh rate to be 24.000hz displaying at 1080p@24. When the card is set to 23hz ReClock shows the refresh rate at 23.976 but the display still says 1080p@24. The media adaption, when set to auto, says "CINEMA adaption: media speed changed to 24.000 fps".

I'm wondering if this issue arises from the fact that CCC still shows the card as being in 24hz and 60hz mode even when it is in-fact displaying at 23hz and 59hz? The windows display correctly shows the refresh rate as being 23 and 25. If this is the issue is there any way to add a workaround to have it check the windows refresh rate setting?

Specs:
ATI 5450
Windows 7 Pro 32bit
ffdshow tryouts clsid latest
madVR latest
MPC HC 1.3
CCC 10.6
Envy24 Sound Card
Panasonic Plasma TV

It's not an issue, don't worry about it. That message "media speed changed to 24.000" is there only to confuse people as admitted by James. :D

Seriously, in normal ReClock operation (default settings), if ReClock says your monitor's refresh rate is 23.976, then that's what it's doing. If you don't believe me, take a peek at your resampled audio. Usually for 48000 audio it would say "resampling to 48048", but actually the resampling will settle very close to the original rate 48000. That means it's adjusting itself to 23.976, not 24.000.

Yes, do not worry about the, deliberately confusing, "media speed changed to 24.000 fps" message. It just means your media and your refresh rate are compatible with playback "around" 24fps and Reclock is using that "mode". Reclock will in fact adapt playback to perfectly match frame rate and refresh rate, whatever precise refresh rate you have around that figure.

James kindly leaves that message in there so us community members have something to post every few weeks and don't feel unwanted. ;)
