when switching from my monitor to my ati custom 'Projector' profile (1920x1080@23,976Hz) I always have to manually go to the ati CCC and choose 23Hz and apply this. Tried to save the profile at that moment (when 1920@1080@23Hz (23,976) is active) but it doesn t get remembered by the CCC. Switching to my monitor and than back to my Projector profile again displays 24Hz. So I always have to go to the CCC and choose 23Hz and apply before running my HD movies. Is there a workaround for this or am I doing something wrong here?

Yes, you have to edit the profile file that being in C:\Users\Blabla\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Profiles in xml form with notepad. In it there is a line like this:
value="Width:1920;Height:1080;Bpp:32;RefreshRate:24;ModeFlag:0;Orientation:0;XPos:0;YPos:0;" />

Change the 24 with 23 and you are ok to go.
