I am having anystream closing sometimes randomly and also when downloading sometimes just sits in waiting. I am running 1.6 but tried 1.7 and it does the same. When I uninstall it usually works for a while then just closes and drops.

Changelog AnyStream

wininet (like AnyStream) to stop working

  • Fix: Joyn: not all episodes were shown, if a series has a mix of free and subscribed-only content

I also need a log file, I have no idea what " Dropping out" means

Didn't the patchnotes say, with the persistent queue, when restarting Anystream the queue itself starts paused?
Just hit the green Play button, in the queue's upper right.

I am going to assume cartmans0208s advice cleared the OPs issue.

You do realize that Amazon Primes Video costs money right? They do have a few (very few) free downloads but if you have a Prime Membership they have a lot of content. Other providers that are available on Amazon cost extra. Now can you explain " Dropping out"

I have been downloading Amazon for more than a year and do know how it works. I am a Prime user. When I say dropping out I mean the program just closes randomly and has to be rebooted. When I reboot the downloading files will not restart and just sit in waiting status.

They are in a paused status. All you need do is press the green play button on the GUI. But the AnyStream program crashing is not right. When it crashed did you get a .dmp file on the desktop? Why did you have to reboot your computer or did you mean just reopen the program?

To make it more graphic:

You have to push the button to resume downloads after a program restart.

As you may have noticed, with 1.6.8.0 the queue is no longer empty after re-opening the program when closed with a filled queue.
That is called persistent queue.

Can you describe what you are doing when the program closes? Adding items to the queue? Browsing videos? Switching tabs?
Or does it just happen when downloading idle?
