Hello there,
this is an issue I encountered several times over time but I couldn't reproduce it purposely since it only occurs when a new version of AnyStream is available and I get a notification on this. But now, it seems I was finally able to reproduce this issue. As already mentioned in the topic, when you hover over an item in order to display a tooltip with details about the respective item && "new version available" is shown while the tooltip is still loading, AnyStream crashes after you close the "new version" dialog box. I was only able to reproduce this issue a few seconds after I started AnyStream, so I don't know if it also arises when it was already running for some time.
I noticed a similar issue was mentioned here: https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/anystream-1-0-1-0.79035
However, this is probably a general issue and not a Netflix-exclusive one because it also happens on Disney+ and Joyn tabs.

I hope this was helpful.

  • some minor changes and improvements

Done, but I guess I can't check whether this issue was fixed unless a newer version was released to show the "new version available" dialog again.

We should be releasing a new version very soon. Please have some patience.

Unfortunately, this issue still arises in version 1.8.4.1.

Well then try 1.8.5.0
But I can't check whether it was fixed in 1.8.5.0 since the issue only occurs when the "new version available" dialog is shown and 1.8.5.0 is currently the newest version.

That issue is only when you install a new version so if you install 1.8.5.0 now your issue is resolved.

Well, you're right, but this is just a workaround. Anyway, I just wanted to point out that there's a bug.
