AnyDVD problem above ver: 6.1.0.2

Every time I install a version above 6.1.0.2 and reboot my system, and AnyDVD is loaded I get a message that AnyDVD has encountered a problem and must shut down. When I click ok it then shuts down. AnyDVD will not run. I can go back to version 6.1.0.2 and all is well. Does anyone have an idea what I need to do to get the latest versions to run and continue to update as AnyDVD is updated?
