Hi all,

Contemplating buying the above external Asus BW-12D1S-U BD drive to rip BD movies. Will it work?

Any information will be deeply appreciated..
 
Why wouldn't it? AnyDVD HD works with any drives, there's just a problem with hardware locked region code for DVD's on Matsushita drives
 
Most users here seemed to point to LG and there reported folks with Asus N55 notebook not working with AnyDVD HD.

AnyDVD HD should update their archives so that users can avoid the pitfalls.
 
AnyDVD works with any drives, the only issues you may get are with region coding on matsushita drives as I said in my previous post. Would you like to provide some links to point out where people are having issues?
