ok this is the first time ive tried this so dont beat me up about it . im trying to stream my bluray and hddvd movies to my xbox 360 . im using my movies integrated into vista media center with anydvd hd running also im using transcode 360. my regular dvds work but not my hd movies. transcode360 gives me an error saying it cant support it. also id like to add that my movies are in ISO format. any advice?

You are limited to re-encoding, or extracting the m2ts (blu-ray) or vob files. Then, make sure that Media Player can play the source files on your Vista system. If not, then you have a codec or DirectShow Filter issue. If you can, then Trancode360 should be able to transcode your HD content for you. Do keep in mind that transcoding HD cannot be done in realtime, and will produce poor results. You are better off re-encoding to WMV. There are quite a number of ways to do this. However, I was one that wanted to acomplish what you are embarking out to do. Do know that it is laborious and truely isn't the best route to take.

Your absolute best way is to build your own HTPC. Yes, you would have two devices for entertainment. However, to get the absolutely best video and sound, an HTPC (or player) is the best route. Until Microsoft add's an internal Blu-ray drive and supports BD-J, there truely isn't a way to eliminate the need for an HTPC/player.
