AnyDVD (HD) 7.6.9.1 upDate == will NOT Start or Load

DL new 7691 UpDate 3 different times since Mar 1
File will NOT start when i CLICK on it in WinExplorer Folder View
(or try to RUN from Start key) w/Admin Privileges
== ver 7690 UpDate did same thing (wont Start)

now using ver 7680 program runs OK
Old 7680 UpDate file === does START when i CLICK on it (have older UpDates going back -> 7630)
AnyDVD files are in Default Location on C:\Program Date (x86)\Slysoft\AnyDVD\
Win Vista Ultra 64bit (everything runs OK=Virus Checks=GOOD)
did SCAN with McAfee = DownLoaded UpDate Files OK
ver. 7680 Information = Reg->me / Serial XXXXX535 HD / Free Updates until: Forever (LifeTime Lic)
looked in AnyDVD File Folder - Key.AnyDVD Registration Key when CLICKED= Registration OK

Trying to RIP = Bridge of Spies (USA) with old ver 7680
SCAN comes up "Problem connecting to UpDate Server"
and now I can't UpDate ver --> 7691 (or 7690)

i know you are Re-Starting the Company
any ideas why UpDates won't work for me ?
any other way i can get to the UpDate Server ?

I have no problems with Anydvd HD 7.6.9.1 installing and running and working. I also backup Bridge of Spies DVD without any problems.

I downloaded with mozilla firefox and just clicked on 7691 and it installed ok. This forum would have hundreds of problems like yours and I have not seen any-you are doing something different than what I do is just click on file and installs with no problems.

OK--Problem Solved...but Y it happens ??

i have 2 computers side/by/side (1 only used for Movie/Music collection)
both are still WinVista (32-64) w/McAfee Virus Protection

--so i copied Working Dir C:\Slysoft\AnyDvd\ & Update files 7680 & 7691 to EveryDay computer (32bit)
--then ran 7680 to Re-Install program (Reg/System pokes) and get 7680 working = Fine
--Had to Click my RegAnyDVD file to Activate License Key (gave me 21day Trial at first)
--Now tried to Click 7691 UpDate file == NG (Cursor BLINKS start than QUITS)
--Staring at 7691 file i R-Click for File Properties==
--General TAB = lOOking at Bottom i notice something ODD ::
--Security: This file came from another Computer and might be Blocked to help this computer
--and a button = [Unblock] next to it under the [Attributes] button
--Clicked the [Unblock] and the whole Security message & button disappears
--Click 7691 and Voila == Update Starts/Loads and iam up and working in ver 7691

==DID McAfee do this on DownLoad ?
==TEST--i DL again 7691 on Everyday Computer == and there it is --> Security:: [Unblock]
==so i DisAble McAfee - DL again = same condition --> Security:: [Unblock]

Googled problem:: lOOks like it's a MicroSoft problem
since i just got infected===probably from 1 of their Famous MS Important Updates
word is it Changed my System Policies (have to go into the Policy Editor== ugh)

mean while i do Enjoy AnyDVDHD (Forever Lic since Jan 2009)

ver 7691 up and Ripping Bridge of Spies --> Hard Drive
 
AVG is also very good at policing your downloads. Honestly they have no business of blocking files that are not known threats.
 
No problem here. Windows 7, 64 bit. No problem ripping "Bridge of Spies."
