Note regarding Avatar BD: This version will work with both US versions of the disc (RED_BIRD_2D_WW).
It will work with the European "RED_BIRD_2D_F3" version of the disc (e.g., France, Germany, Switzerland, ...)


Information regarding players:

Now, with the help of AnyDVD, Avatar will play on those players that previously couldn't handle the disc, like ArcSoft TMT3 or older versions of PowerDVD.
Note that PowerDVD 10 build 1516 has a bug due to which Avatar sometimes will not play but get stuck in a black screen. This is not a protection issue.
There is an update available for PowerDVD 10 that handles this.

I upgraded to AnyDVD HD 6.6.3.7 but I still get the error message and cannot use my AVATAR BD so far.

I want to apollogise for my poor English and if I am posting in the wrong place.

As you see, I want to know what I should do to make my copy of AVATAR work in my LG Blu-Ray player and recorder. I dont want to make copies of the disc, just watch it without changing the player region... . I have tryied alredy different settings in the Blu-Ray section of AnyDVD HD with no results.

I´m taking the liberty to respond you post since you live in Brazil and I live here as well.

Our Avatar Disc, with the ending WW isn´t yet supported by anydvd. I´m having the same issues as you.

It seems that there a lot of WW versions out there. Just let the SlySoft team check them all. I´m sure in a quick time AnyDVD will support all versions.

The is another post from the moderator with the update for TMT3 to play Avatar directly on your computer.

Just search here in the forum for TMT3

O nosso bluray ainda não é suportado pelo anydvd. Estou tendo os mesmos problemas que voce.

Parece que existem mais de uma versão para os discos de final WW e teremos que esperar o time da SlySoft trabalhar em cima de todos. Acredito que em breve todos serão suportados.

Existe um outro topico sobre a atualizacao do TMT3 para rodar o Avatar. Basta voce procurar aqui por TMT3.

Bohne78, thanks for your post in reply of mine.
I understand that the Slysoft team will have a lot of work before having it all done... and I am not in a hurry to see this issue solved. I am using PS3 to watch the movie. I just wanted to see how would it look in my brand new PC LG Blu-Ray player.

My intention was to show that even in the new AnyDvD HD version (6.6.3.7) there were still issues and one of them is the one we have here in Brazil.
I will look for TMT3 and see what is it about. Thank you very much for the tip.

Later on, after dinner, I will see what is going on around here again.

the WW version has different types, only a few are supported so far. Please wait a new release from SlySoft. They are working on it.

Any version after v6.6.3.7 should handle the movie. The latest release most definitely does. The link for v6.6.3.7 is no longer working because it was superseded by newer releases. The software isn't free but it does offer a trial period. If you use up the trial period which is 21 days then you either buy the software or you can no longer use it.
