6.5.5.4 2009 05 21
- New (Blu-ray): Added support for new BD+ protections
- New (DVD): AI scanner improved
- New: Added Windows 7 detection to sysinfo.txt
- Change: AnyDVD beta versions can no longer be evaluated
- Fix: AnyDVD did not work correctly, if the drive letters A, B or C
were assigned to optical drives
- Some minor fixes and improvements

i've load the betaversion of AnyDVDHD 6.5.5.4. After installation and reboot i'll became a message that the test period expired!

How this can be?

ich habe mir gerade die Betaversion 6.5.5.4 runter geladen, installiert und neu gestartet. Nun bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung: Ihre Testperiode ist abgelaufen.

Wie kann das sein?

Wäre nett wenn ich eine Erklärung bekommen könnte.

You can't test the beta versions. One of the new changes with this version. See webslinger post above. ^^

from February, proving that you've been "testing" AnyDVD for at least 3 months now, I'd say: no, you're not everyone.
You're exactly one of those who triggered the decision to block out trial users from betas.

Instead of feeling a little guilty about that petty behavior, you have the insolence of complaining.

So I'll suggest, that everyone being upset with that new way of handling betas send you a PM with a hearty "thank's a lot".
