DSOD after installing 6.4.7.6

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 & TSST Corp. TS-H553A DVD Burner.

After updating to latest Anydvd v6.4.7.6, Vista crashes with a Dark Screen of Death after log in.

Uninstalling and Reinstalling dosn't fix it.

All Previous versions work.

Looks like I'm stuck with v6.4.6.9 for now.

Worked fine for me; I tried restarting after installation (though it didn't ask me to), but nothing crashed.

So do I on two different systems. I have no issues with 6.4.7.6

after log in

I'm the only one using my system. I disabled having to log in immediately after installing (and after disabling UAC permanently).

Well after some playing around I traced it down to Windows Dream Scene.
For some reason if I have a Dream Scene Background selected and AnyDVD v6.4.7.6 installed it crashes on startup.

I just set a Dream Scene as my background and rebooted Vista x64. Upon reboot I had no issues whatsoever.

Same here

Seems as though gearslam has a faulty video card driver, faulty video card, or an unstable overclock.

AnyDVD 6.4.7.6 (and 6.4.6.9) make Parallels VM unusable

If I install AnyDVD 6.4.7.6 (or 6.4.6.9) on Parallels 3.0 for Mac (Build 5608 ) the VM becomes completely unusable.
- it's like interrupts are being fired constantly
- clicking buttons may not respond for minutes
- clicking menus may not respond at all

Any one else seen this?
