Mission Impossible Ghost protocol. 7027 does not fix the problem. It still says that it is scanning the disc even when you remove the disc in the drive. It will not stop scanning unless you turn the computer off.

7027 ghost protocol

I guess I would have read it if I had seen it. O well you must be the man!

Well it's not hidden anywhere, it's on the first post of the 7.0.2.7 thread where you have to go to to download it

7027 issues

that data is 4 days old that is light years in today's technology. Never had to wait this long for a fix. How long do we have to wait.

Workaround..........

I downgraded to 7020 and used the rip to disk feature on anydvd, don't use clone to try and rip. Mission 4 seems to have structural issues. By keeping the main menu on the movie intact will serve as a pointer to what needs to be played and when. A movie only rip will not work....I have run into this before. You will end up with about a 6.4gb file that clone will burn to a dual layer disc.....Keep the menu intact.....This will work......

For that matter, you can do the AnyDVD rip, and then import that rip into CloneDVD and outta be able to extract the main movie there.
I did that with DVDShrink using the AnyDVD rip full disk rip as my starting point - no reason that CloneDVD should not behave the same way.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

This happens when you try to use "Copy DVD Titles". If you use "Clone DVD"
> you can copy the movie. I removed all the check marks except for the
> main movie and copied it just fine. (AnyDVD 7.0.2.0)
I undeerstand a fix for M14 GP is on the way but this will get you a copy of the movie now.

7.0.2.0.

I had no problem backing up MI4 using this version of anydvd along with clonedvd 2.9.3.0 for some reason the beta's are not working for MI4 as it clearly states in RED I feel that is you used another program that was not slysoft based then keep that to yourself, since this forum is for issues and fixes for slysoft. If you have a hard time getting MI4 to backup to a dvd using what I mentioned let me know I will walk you thru it. Very easy to backup honestly:agree:

M14

I used AnyDVD and CloneDVD, Slysoft products all the way. Why would you say "I feel that is you used another program that was not slysoft based then keep that to yourself, since this forum is for issues and fixes for slysoft."? I know what this forum is for and used is properly.

Yes...I totally agree with that. I've only use both of these great products and I just patiently wait for a fix. :agree:

In response.

I said keeping the comments to ones self about those who were using other products to copy/back up MI4 and posted it on the slysoft forum. not directing it at YOU specifically. I have been a long standing user of slysoft pretty much since the 2nd year they started.

I have for years as well, way back when. This kind of thing rarely happens but is usually quickly solved.

Ghost Protocol still will not work

I have used 7.0.2.0 and 7.02.7 and when you put in the disk it will not stop scanning even if you remove the disk from the the computer. You have to turn off the computer to stop it. I am not very learned on the different ways to try to fix things.

Right below the link for 7027 ... did you see this?

Note: MI:4 Ghost Protocol DVD is not yet supported.

ghost protocol 7.0.2.0 & 7.0.2.7

Yes I did read it. I guess this means that you are not interested in fixing the problem. I was just explaining what the problem was for me. It seems that what is going on with the software is a bit odd. It is over 5 days since the problem arouse and noting has been done, except to post a beta link that does nothing to fix the problem at hand. I have been a Slysoft use for years and until now problems have been solved very quickly. Sorry but it's the truth!

Nobody said they weren't trying to fix the problem, the message says 'not yet supported', not 'will never be supported', with some discs they have to wait to get a physical copy to be able to fix it, as they are in Antigua that can take a few days to arrive.

And some of us did get the beta to work fine, but using only a dvd drive, not a bluray drive. Try it out, I just watched the backup. And in the dvd drive, it reads within seconds, however I tried to let it run for an hour getting a log file and it would stall.

No, it means "not YET supported" - in any dialect of English.

The street release of this disk was only about 50 hours ago in the US.
Figure it has to be over-nighted to Antigua - and then they work on it.

There was no way anyone could submit an "advance logfile" on this one to give them a head start.

7.0.3.0 is now up on the main page......... have at it!!!
