What do I do to fix this? The fault happens on boot. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No joy. ANyone else see something like this?

Hmmm . . . NT kernal
I'm not sure if this is an XP64 issue with Anydvd. I'm using Vista 64 bit and not having issues. I've sent a Private Message to James.

Try clicking http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=1559 and following the steps (note that step 4 requires you to post information)

If you have Spybot's Teatimer installed, try disabling or uninstalling it.

Hi,

I also have this issue with XP64.
AnyDVD 6.4.5.9 crashes on boot.
When I restart AnyDVD manually afterwards, it seems to work.
Since this XP64 is a clean install, I didn't uninstall and reinstall.

Here are my upper and lower filters:

I hope this helps.

Let me know if you need more information.

No, I don't have tea-timer installed.

As I said, this is pretty much still a clean install.

But I tried installing Anydvd 6.4.6.0 and it seems I don't have the crash on boot anymore.

So for now I'm happy.

Thanks for the suggestion to try the beta version.

You gut lucky (or unlucky - followed by lucky). Looking at the release notes for 6.4.6.0 - it's the closest I've ever seen to the previous version. I doubt the change was the real answer.

I suspect the "Windows Rubber Chicken Dance" was your holy grail. :D
