3-D TV's

Can't wait till this is out this fall either. When I get my SSDI and such I am getting one.
 
Not convinced myself, the screen even at 55" are still too small to really have the WOW factor. From playing with one it has a cool factor just not WOW. Plus I really hate wearing the glasses.
 
Are they "RealD" polarized 3D ??

They simply show one frame for the left and one for the right eye in alternating sequence. The glasses sync to the TV via infrared and block out the left then the right eye in alternating sequence in sync with the frame the TV is showing. It does work but not what I would consider worth wearing the glasses for.
