    Dtshd and truehd question.

If a movie is changed from 24p to 25p (or the other way around) does that matter? I mean does the amount of resamppling needed affect audio quality?

Windows 10 Creator's Update messed up ReClock

Full screen mode dosnt effect me ether. Im unsure fullscreen mode has anything to do with it. Reclock is pretty broken in creators Update for me. Regardeless of settings or drivers. I have used it for half a decade and never seen a problem like this

    ReClock 1.9.0.0

It works now! Fantastic. I have not run into any bugs I think. One time MPCHC crashed but i hasnt since. I had a feeling something was wrong with the whole estimator / cache / framerate stuff. One improvemt is that in the 1881 version I was running before - reclock changed the sound a second...

    ReClock 1.9.0.0

Thats great. Im not much help possibly. My best input is to look at the changes from 1881 to 1882. And that it seems connected to the "assumed frame rate when not found" setting somehow

    ReClock 1.9.0.0

I just tried it and I cleared database but it makes no difference.

    ReClock 1.9.0.0

Refresh rate is correctly detected. Both madvr and reclock properties window report the same correct refrash rate. I have tried many times to clear the database with same results. It changes speed as far as I can find because I have set "assumed framerate when not found" to 23,976 on a monitor...

    ReClock 1.9.0.0

here it is I hope. this is with a 25p file that is speeded up by 4.3% and this is where i open the same file but with 1.8.8.1. here the file is not speeded up. im not sure im reading it right but it seems fps is detected in both cases

    ReClock 1.9.0.0

Thx for the reply. I cleared the database to test so that part fits. But why would reclock fail in detecting the framerates of all my files. It works fine in older versions. It seems it doesn’t detect the framerate if I use 1.8.8.2 or newer. How can this be?

    ReClock 1.9.0.0

I can’t use versions of reclock since this change in 1.8.8.2: 1.8.8.2 - 20/01/2014 * Change: Manual framerate settings override automatic framerate detection This is because reclock just sets the framerate of the file to what it is set in "assumed framerate when not found". If this is set to...

Bug in reclock from 1.8.8.2 and onwards

A few years ago, this change was made to reclock: 1.8.8.2 - 20/01/2014 * Change: Manual framerate settings override automatic framerate detection Since this version, the setting "assumed frame rate when not found" does not work anymore. Setting it to 23.976 for instance makes reclock use this...

Problems with media detection and "assumed frame rate when not found" function

I tried an older version and deleted reg setings. But the problem was still there. Meybe some other software updates to mpchc or madvr broke it? Any1?

Problems with media detection and "assumed frame rate when not found" function

I seem to have some problems with reclocks frame rate detection and the "assumed frame rate when not found" function. If I set "assumed frame rate when not found" to 23,976 it works fine for all material with this framerate. But if I then play material where the source filters says its 25p - the...

    Audio dropouts/stuttering with cirtain files

Hey all, I use reclock to get smoothe framerate. I have the sound sent to my receiver decoded, resampled and reencoded in AC3. As i run optical im guessing this is the only setting where i can use reclock and have multichannel sound though optical right? I just bought a new receiver and now...
