• AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.
Situations like this will always happen with AnyStream: streaming providers are continuously improving their countermeasures while we try to catch up, it's an ongoing cat-and-mouse game. Please be patient and don't flood our support or forum with requests, we are working on it 24/7 to get it resolved. Thank you.

Windows Home Server 2011 -AnyDvd/HD Missing Systray

The My Movies addin for WHS runs as a service, and it wants control of the AnyDVD process. So, if the addin sees that AnyDVD is running, it will kill the process and restart it. And you can't have more than 1 AnyDVD process running at once. If you start the addin, kill AnyDVd, and restart it in...

unable to rip DVD through Hyper-V virtual machine

Here are some initial tests and results: 1. Host = AnyDVD not running; Guest = AnyDVD running and enabled; RESULT = DVD video disc identified as Data disc by AnyDVD and not readable by Windows (I can get a log for this one and will post it) 2. Host = AnyDVD running and enabled; Guest =...

unable to rip DVD through Hyper-V virtual machine

The My Movies for WHS addin uses AnyDVD to rip DVDs and Blu-rays. I don't think it is possible to make it work without AnyDVD running on the guest, but I will try again. And when AnyDVD is running on the guest, it must also run on the host for some unknown reason. I will test out all of the...

unable to rip DVD through Hyper-V virtual machine

There is no point in posting a log because there IS NO LOG. It is just the "EMPTY_DRIVE" log that gets produced by AnyDVD running in the Guest OS (WHS 2011 in my case). When I look at the AnyDVD status in the Settings, it says that "No Disc is present in Drive I:" Drive I is set in Hyper-V to...

unable to rip DVD through Hyper-V virtual machine

I am trying to work around the issue by creating a script to detect the disc change on the host and automatically recapture the drive in the guest. I am close... I will try to find some time to work on it this weekend. If I have any success, I will let you know. I really wish Slysoft would help...

Feature Request - External Program Smart Parameters

Thanks, James. I will look into it. In the mean time, it would be awesome if you or someone else could look into using AnyDVD HD within a Hyper-V virtual machine. See this thread: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=38538

Feature Request - External Program Smart Parameters

I understand... That would work, but it would be much easier to just use the external program functionality that AnyDVD provides. What I am trying to do is actually work around a separate issue that is described in this thread: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=38538 I can't get...

unable to rip DVD through Hyper-V virtual machine

I take it back... I was running AnyDVD as a service on the host Hyper-V server and it was staying enabled for each drive since the service didn't take my user settings. So, that part worked as described by the previous posters. What ISN'T working no matter what I try is ripping several discs...

Feature Request - External Program Smart Parameters

did this ever get implemented? I need to be able to identify which drive triggered the external program. Thanks.

unable to rip DVD through Hyper-V virtual machine

For the benefit of others since it was driving me crazy, the above steps worked *almost* perfectly for me. I had to do one additional thing though in order to make it work. I had to disable AnyDVD for each individual drive on the host. I needed to have the AnyDVD program enabled, but each...
