    Cannot flash ASUS BW-16D1HT

I see. Any reason why I'd want to switch to 3.02? I flashed the 3.10 MK and AnyDVD has no trouble ripping my 4K disc.

    Cannot flash ASUS BW-16D1HT

I've used the files you've sent me kufo, and this time the flash did work thank you. I'll have to see if my disc can be ripped now. I don't know why the ASUS_ODD_FW_Changer_(Modified) I downloaded was not working (I grabbed it from the makemkv topic that is linked in the sticky here) though. It...

    Cannot flash ASUS BW-16D1HT

Hello. Sorry for making another thread on that subject, but I recently acquired a BW-16D1HT in order to rip a couple UHD movies and I'm stumped by the procedure... The drive was shipped with firmware 3.10, so I tried to flash an older one using two tools that I found here...

    [SOLVED] Bad sector

I bought the disc on Amazon Japan specifically, and yes it is a disc on demand. I did not notice that when ordering it... Another odd thing about it is that it contains a 4 Gb VOB, which is not anything I've ever seen either. That said, the rip is indeed successful so everything turned out fine...

    [SOLVED] Bad sector

Using AnyDVD's Rip to hard drive function seemed to do the trick actually. What an odd thing. Just to be clear, I mentionned PowerShell because it's part of my usual set-up and it gives this detailed error. Using regular Windows copy simply says that it can't be read. This is the first time...

    [SOLVED] Bad sector

Hello. I have this DVD that exhibits a weird kind of issue. AnyDVD seems to decrypt it correctly, and I can play the movie on my computer, however I cannot copy the files. Windows is telling me "the drive cannot find the sector requested". The problematic file is marked read-only and hidden for...

You're probably correct. But I thought of an alternative. It may be a little tricky to implement but if there was a way to send an even through a socket to AnyDVD, I could script something to remotely select region-free, and also listen to that socket to find out that AnyDVD requires my input...

    Feature request

Hmm I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I rip discs from different regions, some B's and some C's but ~70% of the discs are region free. When the disc is region locked AnyDVD is able to determine automatically which region code is set and bypass it, but when it's region free I have...

    Feature request

Well I suppose I want it removed, if there is a region code and it's not removed my rip wouldn't work, right? But as I said, I'm using AnyDVD on a second computer, and when that pop-up opens asking for region it's little bit cumbersome to have to set it manually, that's all. So I want automatic...

Maybe as a hidden command line flag, not a real obvious option? (As in, start AnyDVD with a specific parameter)

    Feature request

I understand that, but I would like an option to help it by assuming region-free if region code cannot be determined, is it not possible? I may not understand the problem fully, but is there no way AnyDVD can try assuming region-free and detected that it's not working and only then ask the user?

    Feature request

Hello. When I load a BluRay that is region locked, AnyDVD does a great job of determining which region it's from and do its thing (I have the region code setting set on Auto) but when the disc is region free it always asks for confirmation. Is it possible to have it automatically choose "Region...
