No idea if this actually occurs, but if true, then all older existing screeners should be decrypted easily with current Anydvd versions. Do the studios require you to return your screener under threat of penalty?

VLC is unreliable enough to be deemed a joke program. I've had perfect rips that I wanted to preview before burning to a dvd. VLC chokes on some really good rips which all turned out to be perfect when playing back on any of my standalone DVD players. VLC = Very Lousy Choice

@James If AnyDVD can detect Cinavia when scanning a DVD, can the status window be programmed to display "Cinavia Detected"? This feature would take away the guessing game and allow us to know to not play the copy in a Cinavia sensing machine and wasting time and ruining the movie watching...

Also, instead of burning the files to a disk, copy them to a USB stick or SD card and plug it into a media player like the Raspberry Pi.

8.2.4.8 has no issues with the Canadian version of Winchester. Structural protection not found. The highest Vob is VTS_03_5.VOB Processed with CloneDVD title only and full AnyDVD rip to folder. Since I don't have access to the US version of Winchester, my work here is done.

No you weren't if that was his level of expertise. I had the same issues with 10+ years old crappy media pixelating and freezing on a 10+ years old Sony DVD player. I played the same crappy media (Data Ware) on a 2017 Sony DVD player and it played perfectly. Try using a dust removing lens...
