    I used AnyDVD to rip the movies to the hard drive. No, they were not the same movies. I just know from ripping DVD's in the past that it took between 7 and 9 minutes (rarely 10 minutes) to rip a DVD to a hard drive using the internal AnyDVD ripper.

    What does "run through" mean, and what programs were you using? I meant that I ripped them to my hard drive. I use DVDReMake Pro and Intervideo DVDCopy 5. What do you mean by slow? It took about 15 minutes to rip, versus about 8 minutes with the older version.

    I just downloaded the new AnyDVD version 6.1.4.3. I uninstalled the old version and then installed the newer version. I just ran through 4 different DVD's and believe the new version is much slower than the older version. Since this is a new version, could there have been some debug code...
