Is GJ becoming too much of a hassle?

After one or two tries with GJ on most of my games, I find the solution is to search the net for a no CD patch. I'm not flaming the product, I own it and will probably pay for the next version. By the time some games work in GJ, I've played it and it's removed from my system.
