the new update of Any dvd Hd has a bug. It does not recognize .bup files and you cannot use this program in the background either as it will eliminate all.bup files! You must use other software to do this and it's not fair. Hopefully the tech ppl will have seen this after reading this blurb. I love this program and it is a great tool to back up MY movies that I purchased to take to my vehicle as I do not want my originals damaged! The most recent movie was "pirates of the carribean 3" and it did it on Nora roberts "carolina moon" also. Good luck software dudes! Will watch for a fix Thanks as always for agreat product!

I have no idea what you're talking about. And unless you're discussing HD DVDs or Blu-rays, you're posting in the wrong forum.

from Frequently Asked Questions (READ BEFORE YOU POST)

26. With some discs, I get a weird .bup error message. Should I be worried?

No. That message will be more common, and it doesn't really indicate anything other than the .bup file location does not correspond with the pointers in the .ifo files. This situation is fairly common now, and that message does not necessarily indicate that you will experience problems.

You must use other software to do this and it's not fair.

 What are you talking about?

Anydvd 6.3.0.0 doesn't have any issues with Pirates of the Carribean 3.

What problem are you having, exactly?

1. a)Click the red fox icon on your toolbar.
b) Navigate to "Program Settings".
c) Click "enable logging".
d) Click "ok".
e) Put the problematic disc in your optical drive/reader.
f) Go to your My Documents folder
g) You will see a zip file called "Anydvd_Info_titleofmydisc.zip"
h) When replying or posting in the Slysoft forums, look for the icon that looks like
attach.gif

i) if you don't see that icon, click the "go advanced" button. You should see that icon now. Click the paperclip.
j) a small pop-up screen should appear (if it doesn't please ensure your browser is enabled to allow pop-ups from the Slysoft forums)
k) click the "Browse" button, and locate and select the .zip file you created.
l) click "upload"

2) State the full a)error message(s) you encountered, b)tell us what program(s) you were using when you received the error message(s), and c) describe in detail what you were doing when you received the error message(s). What problem are you having exactly?
