We have a lab of workstations on which we'd like to share a DVD for any person who wishes to view it using VirtualCloneDrive. It works great, mapping an image from a network share, and even after logging off and logging back into a non-priveleged user, the DVD iso remains loaded into the virtual drive.
The problem, however, comes in that restarting the system then logging into a non-priveleged user results in VCD no longer having the ISO mounted.
Is there any way to make this mount persistent over restart cycles?
My guess would be that it's trying to mount the ISO from the share which requires at least an authenticated user level access to read, so on start-up it cannot read the ISO, but mounting it manually works fine until the system is re-booted.
Any input would be appreciated.
