Blu Ray reader AND writer??

Armed with the new Slysoft product that can read blu ray discs, is it necessary to have a blu ray disc writer as well as reader. Will a Blu Ray player be enough for my needs?

Yes, a BD reader is all you need (and lots and lots of hard drive space). It looks like Liteon is making a reader (the LH-2E1S) but I haven't been able to find it anywhere though. I don't know about any others.
