For those who have issues with AnyDVD not working properly after you install a new update of AnyDVD.
I would be interested to know if the PC is a custom build (built by you, a friend or a PC shop) or a pre-built (Dell-HP-etc.)
I don't need to know specifics of hardware or software but those can be included if you desire. If you want to post the specs and don't know what they are, Everest Home is an excellent software to find that information........ and it's free.
Thanks to anyone who is willing to share there info with me.

I have it installed on my Compaq Evo N610c and a custom built desktop. No problem with either one. Just for the sake of argument.

I appreciate the input but my question was for those that have "problems" after updating AnyDVD.

I don't think you are going to be able to narrow down the problem to being related to a custom built or manufactured pc when so many people have not had problems. That's all I was getting at.

@ michaelb,

Welcome to the Forum.

It might be helpful if you provided the Version Number of the AnyDVD “UpDate” you are referring to.

Also it will be helpful if you described in detail exactly what your “I can not copy any DVD after installing update of newanydvd” problem is.

Regards,
Coaster

I'm not trying to narrow down or connect AnyDVD problems to any particular types of PC's. I have some theories and I'm trying to gather information to support them.
It appears the thread is pretty much invalid now anyway.
