i got 4 blue ray who don't play:

ID4 it rip and get rendered but he got problem on color chromatic
its impossible to play it directly on PDVD 7 / 8 tried some version

Pirate of Carribean 1 and 2 don't play and crash PDVD all version ( got bored to work a 1h or so rip so i skipped the try )

Pirate of Carribean 3 it play the start menu where select the starting language, it play the annoying ads and crap but it crash infinite loop or so on the start of the film or menu loading

so i bought 5 blue ray to end with only "i am legend" to get played properly :-/ (I'm using anydvd because i am not hdmi ready and i don't care on that shit i want to see what i bought on every piece of HW i got ! /pissed)

need some info more ?

got screen from MPC playing it trough InCD driver to read the UTF 2.50/2.60 directly instead to rip all in HD

and i think something wrong inside this ? new protection ? they are readable but they are not enjoyable :-(

oh I sometimes have exactly the same issue with Casino Royale BD. it seems the decoder renders the chrominance values a couple of pixels above the luminance values. usually restarting pdvd works and this bug has gone. or you could try to enable/disable the hardware acceleration. but sometimes nothing helps at all. i do not really know how to get rid of this behaviour. but I do definitly know that this is a bug and no copy protection.
could it be, you are using a notebook with nvidia graphics? I've got the geforce go 7600 se.

I think this is a graphics driver issue.

AnyDVD HD only decrypts the H.264 stream and it is not possible to mess that up that U/V layers are shifted vs. the Y layer. Also BD+ cannot mess the stream up that way.

I think this is more a problem in Y/UV layout of the decoded image. Check if there's a new driver from ATI or Nvidia respectively.

---

U is shifted 16 lines up and V additional 4 lines. Funny. So PowerDVD calculations layer offsets wrong. You could try to disable that color format in your driver configuration.

problem is i cant play shit on PDVD ;-) and all that come from Media Player Classic with filter chain ( haali media splitter -> ffdshow -> Direct render 9 )

so where this mess come from ? because i play 1 blue ray title ( i am legend ) correctly and its an VC-1 streams as well

and all the other VC-1 exemple downloaded in internet play too whit out problem ...

i'm clueless atm ...

ok sorry ppl in MPC i can see it correctly now ... PDVD installation messed up all my preferred chain of filter ... so i fixed it now and it show all correctly in MPC, problem still PDVD don't play shit with or whit out HW acceleration etc ... so i think the BD+ part its messed up and it crash

BD+ is only on ID4. There is no BD+ on Pirates of the Caribbean. Infinite loops when playing PoC and the strange colour output of the four movies are obviously two distinct problems.

You still have not mentioned which hardware equipment you use! I'm not asking for fun.

Hi gouldukat in your second post you mention InCD if you check the sticky at the top of the forum called "Bad things to have in your filter list" you get this from Webslingers post.

incdrm (system32\drivers\InCDRm.sys), Version: 5.5.3.1 (5.5.3.1)

FileVersion: 5, 5, 3, 1
ProductVersion: 5, 5, 3, 1

I've found mostly Version 4.x of Incd causes nothing but problems and conflicts with Anydvd and Clonedvd, so

hope this helps

using InCDReader-5.9.4.0.exe
InCDPass.sys
InCDRm.sys
version 5.9.4.0

but installed it only after get the same problem whit out it ... only to see the file name and use the drive whit out the need of rip all the crap from it

for tox im using a 4 core intel and a 8800GTS

still cant play that title on pdvd for use menu language and subtitle so sux :-/

strange, i know someone owning the 8800gts. i cannot remember him having problems playing any bd. maybe i gotta ask again.

btw, have you updated your graphics driver to the latest version?:)

yes and its not changed nothing ... i cant play them on PDVD8 the program just froze up after 1 minutes on black screen when pressing play button, and i need to kill him in task manager

1. Uninstall that Incd packet writing junk

2. Update to Anydvd 6.4.3.8 beta: click http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6438.exe

3. Ensure that you're using the latest drivers for your video card.

4. Ensure that you're using the latest Powerdvd update

5. Do you have Data Execution Prevention enabled in your OS? If so, disable it.

very, very strange. next step is to try to play the movies back on another computer...

i decrypt:

pirate of caribbean 3 without problem, but i don't try to see directly with powerdvd.

also i decrypt indipendence day without problem, but i don't try to see directly with powerdvd.

so if you want to decrypt this movie, you can decrypt without problem, but if you want to see these bluray on your pc, i can't help you.

(im italian) ;)

[...]Pirate of Carribean 1 and 2 don't play and crash PDVD all version ( got bored to work a 1h or so rip so i skipped the try )[...]
so i think he is talking about movie 1 and 2 of the trilogy...

ok discovered its pdvd who cant play them whit out anydvd too, i got a new 24" HDCP and tryed on play the title on it and pdvd just loop black and crash ... last version 8.0.1730.50

so dunno wtf is this problem ... :-/
