What version on XviD and DivX does Mobile use?

If I have a paid version DivX 6.5 on my machine will it use it?

    Is Apple TV supported?

xvid is xvid, run the mencoder binary if you want a specific version, its essentially mpeg4

XViD is DivX compatible, thus XViD format videos play on DivX compatible players. Better than asking "what if" questions would be to try it if it works on your player.

For Apple TV you could use the ipod mp4 profile. You can alter the resolution in the devices.ini file you find in the cdvdmobile program folder to a bigger value. Don't know what this Apple TV can play, though.
