I remuxed a lot of UHD DV (DolbyVision) discs with CloneBD to DV mp4 files without any issues but very rare there is a big problem. Some mp4 files stutters while playing on PC and LG OLED. I found that fix to stutter is to remux file to mkv with mkvtoolnix and force fix bitstream timing info with forced frame rate 24000/1001p. This problem happen only with two discs so far. The Princess Bride and just released Spaceballs.
Is it possible to force frame rate while copying video in CloneBD?
Princess Bride had variable frame rate in media info after ripping with CloneBD and setting it to const forced frame rate fixed problem.
Spaceballs have const frame rate in media info after ripping with CloneBD but setting it to forced frame rate fixed problem. Remuxing DV to mkv will remove DV layer but stutters is still there. Only force frame rate is a solution for this.
