I purchased a brand new Asus 1814 SATA drive. I have three P4 machines all with available SATA connections on them.

I'll stick a DVD in and clone it with CloneDVD (anyDVD running also) and rip the data to a local hard drive.

Then I'll run cloneDVD again to write exsisting data and select where my rip was. This drive WILL NOT burn anything. CloneDVD gives this error:
WRITEDVD 14 W2. I've tried it in two completely different computer's. And I've also replaced the Asus with a Plextor 716 I had laying around (SATA also) and that worked fine on the same connection the Asus drive was using. Are these drives known to be bad or something? Latest firmware was tried.

Select "dvd-5" near the quality bar.
