I have several movies in my collection that would error out trying to make an mp4 for the PSP. I would get a long list of dropped frames upon the error. This would happen if I tried directly from the DVD or the AnyDVD ripper. Out of desperation I ripped the movie to the HDD with CloneDVD using the DVD-9 setting then used 1.5.0.4 mobile on it. The movie completed perfectly the A/V sync is perfect. I tried a couple other problematic DVDs with the same great results. Whatever the difference between AnyDVD ripper and CloneDVD ripper is seems to be the workaround I needed.
