I am definitely amused at all the arguments. Honestly? I couldn't give a damn what any of you do with your machines. The fact remains Windows 11 is more secure, it's a FREE update, and if you choose to stay on an older version of Windows, have at it. There's still people running XP, 7, 8, etc. Anyway, to each their own. Enjoy.
I agree 100%

I've got a machine setup to run DOS 6.22, Win3.11, or Windows 95. If anyone thinks they can "hack" into it, or that doing so would compromise anything, they're welcome to try.

Win 10 is slower compared to Win 11 on these 12xxx CPUs. Win 11 has the so called "Thread director" co-developed by MS and Intel. Win 10 doesn't have it. Google "Thread director".

As someone who writes real-time software for a living, Windows' thread scheduler has always annoyed me, from its idiotic solution to priority inversion to its quanta penalization (not to mention its limited, hierarchical priority scheme). Whenever I have to port my software to Windows (for testing or simulation purposes; Windows isn't a real-time OS), I want to pull my hair out.

I have Windows 11 on my test bed. But my main machine only runs Linux. Using Wine 8.0 RC1 now.
