I no powerdvd is used to watch the actual disks of blueray and HD DVD. I am just wondering how I go about watching these movies that are now stored on my PC hard drive ?
 
PowerDVD is still used to do playback, even when ripped.

Or you can use sarah99's guide on Doom9 to use MPC to do playback.
