Kind of a newbie here. Wondering what kind of 4K UHD external drive will work for ripping.
 
This is really a great question because while I use internal drives myself. Soon there will be no cases available with bays for an internal optical drive. The last 2 builds I did I had a very hard time finding one and my it made my choices very limited.
 
Pioneer makes the best drives. But they aren't fast and require libredrive. The bu40n is slightly faster and also requires libredrive.
