When using DVD DC (finally got in working in Vista) and I only want to rip the movie, I have two choices

1-Select main movie files
2-Select main movie files + IFO'S

What is the difference between to two?

IFO is a DVD InFOrmation file that stores information about Chapters, Subtitles and Audio Tracks.

Other DVD files include VOB and BUP files.

When ripping then do I need these files or can I just select main movie? Most movies I watch are burn then rewrite, so movie only most of the time for me.

Main movie is fine, it just removes everything else which helps compression. It will just go straight to the main movie.
