I'M having problems with another series that have a purplish colored surface. is it something with copying those that don't work?

here is the log. i was also asking if the purple color on the bottom affects the reading of the disc. this is step by step what i get.

That's a previously decrypted bootleg/backup. Logfile is because of that useless. We need a log from the original. Thus most likely it's a defective bootleg/backup

Then ask for your money back, cause it's a bootleg or faulty backup. There's no chance in hell the studio responsible for that title would use a consumer DVD+r DL (and not a pressed disc) with no protection at all on it.

My guess (besides the bootleg stuff), someone borrowed the original, made a backup, kept the original and returned the backup.

I am not sure, why you say the disc has no protection?
Code:
Found & removed structural copy protection!
To me it looks like the same "on demand" protection like https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/last-man-standing-seasons-5-and-6-unable-to-rip.75677/ or https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/new-girl-final-season-7.75654/

Because of this. (Ignoring the DVD+r DL profile)

Media is not CSS protected.
Media is region free.

VIDEO_TS.IFO is locked to region(s): 1 2 3 4 5 6 8!

Though you're the expert. I just don't think it's very logical for a series to use no CSS, no region coding...

If I'm not mistaking, when creating a logfile, the ai scanner is forced on, which causes the logfile to report structural protection when there's none.

Though I may be wrong, but don't think so.

@James , Sending logs for all three discs scanned with 8.2.8.0. Believed to be same/similar table of contents 20th Century FOX protection.

All have the same error messages

Ripper = IFOTitles3

CloneDVD2 = IFO Title 3 TCE, when preserve menus is selected. w/o menus, appears to be able to backup the individual episodes.

Next AnyDVD version will fix all the 20th century fox "on demand" discs.

Please try AnyDVD 8.2.9.0. It should fix the problem.
