Article Source: iTunes to Kindle Fire

Sure, you could fill you Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD (7’’/8.9’’) with movies from Amazon Instant Video for $9.99 - $14.99 per film. However, if you have already spent a lot of money in movies and TV episodes from Apple iTunes store, you could save some cash and move the video stuff from iTunes to your Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD (7’’/8.9’’).

Problem is, all the movies and TV episodes in Apple iTunes store are encoded with the M4V files which are protected by using Apple’s FairPlay DRM copy protection, and the Amazon Kindle Fire is not authorized. To play your iTunes video purchases on the Kindle Fire, you will need to a DRM removal software to strip the FairPlay DRM protection from your iTunes video purchases firstly.

Here I recommend a piece of software called Aimersoft DRM Media Converter, which let you rip out the FairPlay DRM and re-encode the copy-protected M4V file into an open, plain MP4 for your Amazon Kindle Fire. It also handles the DRMed audio tracks, that’s to say, you also can use this software to convert your iTunes audio purchases (.m4b/.aa audio books and .m4p songs) to DRM-free format. Learn more about this great software.
Instructions on how to convert protected iTunes media stuff to Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD (7’’/8.9’’) using the Aimersoft DRM Media Converter:

Step 1: Free download Aimersoft DRM Media Converter, and install it onto your computer.

Step 2: Launch this iTunes to Kindle fire converter and close your iTunes program. Once the converter is open, you can add one or more DRM-laden video or audio files from your iTunes folder to this software by clicking the Add File icon in the top left corner of its main window.

Step 3: Click the “Video files to” drop-down menu to open the conversion profile panel. On it, select the “MP4 video” from the “Common video” option as output format (If the source file is HD film or HD TV episodes, you should select the “HD MP4 video” from the “HD video” option as output format). For converting iTunes protected audio books and music to Kindle Fire, just click the “Audio files to” drop-down menu, and select the output profile for the type of audio you want to create.

Step 4: If you are satisfy with all the settings, click the Convert button lower right to begin removing DRM from iTunes and converting iTunes M4V videos or M4B/AA/M4P audios to Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD (7’’/8.9’’) playable files. When the conversion finishes, you can transfer the converted files to your Kindle Fire tablet and enjoy them.
