WarCraft III - Blizzard removes cd-check

Blizzard continues to remove the cd-check from its line-up of games. Today WarCraft III and WarCraft III - Frozen Throne expansion set got updated to 1.21b.

FEATURES

- The game no longer requires the CD to play.​

Connect to Battle.net is currently the quickest way to get this update, as the support pages is not been updated yet.

Also - No files is required to be copied to the installation directory after the update.

oh, first starcraft, now warcraft 3... interesting... wonder if blizzard have a new policy on protection or if they consider the games past their 'sell by' date, and they have some other games in the pipeline
