I tried watching the return of xander XXX on my alien computer and the bluray was realllll choppy with the vlc is that normal but all the protections on the anydvdhd were taken off

No but an increased chance of issues. Same reason why they usually pick a random playlist and not the one AnyDVD said even on properly decrypted screenpass titles
